Train ride

Bevin had never rode a train so we decided to take a short trip to Portland to see Amy, Tony and the grand kids. We had so much fun "riding the rails." It was a three hour ride and Amy picked us up at the station. We spent Saturday watching the Rose parade and playing Playstation 3. Sunday we went to see "Up" in 3d, then caught the evening train home. Fun time so we are looking for another destination that's not too far.

Spring?

It's still so cold up here in Washington. I guess cold is relative, I guess a better description is it's not warm yet. Last Wed. I was working on a roof all day and I felt like I was going to drown. It wasn't just raining all day it was POURING. It makes me long for the days past in sunny Arizona. Then just when I'm ready to hop in my truck and head south, the flowers and trees and apple blossoms pop out and I realize why I stay here. Plus from the sounds I'm hearing, Arizona's economy is pretty close to worst in the nation, so I put on my rain gear, change my wet socks, ( I need some rain boots) climb back up on the roof and do my job knowing that 3 or 4 months of less wet weather is just around the corner along with the mountains, trees and beauty that I have come to call home! Will any of my brothers or sisters just please come visit? I miss my family!!!!!

NFC Championship week-end

Arlene, Bevin, Tony, Amy and me drove down to AZ. for the championship game. It was so much fun to see Bevin meet many of his cousins. We had a great time going to dinner at Fajitas where Nevada Harward and Karen Jennings met up with us there. Cindy and Bart were such gracios host and it was so much fun to see my brothers and sisters. I miss you all so much! 2400 miles of driving and worth every mile. Check out the pictures below!
